Which deck is pictured in your on-line course?
The deck pictured in my course is the Rider-Waite Tarot deck.
There are a number of other versions of this deck as well.

Which deck do you recommend for a beginner?
The Rider-Waite deck or one of its variations is always a good choice.
It's the most popular deck and the one used by most tarot teachers and books.
It is also the model for many other tarot decks, so knowing it gives you a good foundation.
Here are some more suggestions for choosing your first deck.

What is the difference between a tarot deck and a non-tarot deck?
A tarot deck usually has 78 cards divided into two groups: 22 major cards and 56 minor cards in four suits.
A non-tarot deck can have any number of cards with no set structure.
A tarot deck usually has the word "tarot" in its title.
Both kinds of decks can be used for developing intuition and exploring questions.
