Fey Tarot
The word "fey" suggests sprites, elves and fairy folk. The Fey Tarot is devoted to these creatures and what they can tell us about joy, magic and the world of nature. Each card shows a scene from the world of the fey. There are sweet dreamers for chalices, wounded fey for swords, craftsmen for pentacles and strong activists for wands. In the border is given the number and name of each card (in five languages). This deck is a collaboration between artist Mara Aghem and Riccardo Minetti, an editor at Lo Scarabeo in Italy. Minetti wrote the companion book The Fey Tarot which describes each image and gives simple and advanced meanings for every card. This book also highlights the creative process for the deck. Sketches and early card designs are shown throughout as a window into Aghem's artistic vision.
