A stargate is "a gateway or portal that leads you to other dimensions...a reciprocal network of energy for information and healing." The Stargate deck is the work of James Jereb, a visionary artist in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jereb was inspired to create these images based on the five-pointed star. Each of the twelve larger cards represents a stargate inspired by a different culture, such as the Maya (to the right). The ten smaller cards are gods, goddesses and other archetypal beings who are masters of the stargates. To the left is the goddess Sekhmet. In the companion book Initation to the Stars, Jereb describes each card and how to activate it through meditation and heightened awareness.
