The New Palladini Tarot is the second tarot deck designed and painted by David Palladini. The first is the Aquarian Tarot commissioned when the artist was young. Now, over 25 years later, Palladini feels he has "gained more knowledge of those things that lie outside the 'normal' realm" and so he has tried to create a deck which is "both beautiful and powerful, ancient and modern." The original paintings were done in ink, magic marker and pencil on rag paper. Many races and religious symbols were incorporated to give the images a more universal, inclusive appeal. There is a separate companion book for this deck called Reading Tarot Cards: A Guide to the New Palladini Tarot.
