Celtic Tree Oracle
The Celtic Tree Oracle by Liz and Colin Murray is based on the ancient Druid Ogham alphabet of twenty-five letters. Each letter has its own name - a tree, plant or natural element. The Druids used this alphabet for secret communications and as a tool for access to a "parallel world of knowledge, meanings and associations." On the top and bottom of each card is the name in Gaelic and English. To the right and left is the symbol associated with the card. Thirteen cards have numbers indicating the month of the Celtic year that card represents. A picture of the associated tree or other element is shown in the center. Each card also has a corresponding color which is woven into the image. There is a special reading procedure for this deck described in the accompanying book The Celtic Tree Oracle: A System of Divination, written by the authors. The deck comes in an attractive wooden box with sample reading forms and a record pad.
