El Gran Tarot Esoterico
El Gran Tarot Esoterico is a Spanish deck from the card company Heraclio Fournier in Vitoria, Spain. The style suggests the Tarot of Marseilles, but with many differences. Artist Luis Pena Longa has created the cards in bright, primary colors on a white background with black borders. The major arcana cards are numbered in roman numerals and have titles in Spanish (except Death). Astrological symbols and Hebrew letters have been assigned to the majors and the court cards. The minor arcana cards have ordinal numbers, but no titles. The numbered cards show the familiar suit symbols. Each suit also has a common theme: wands (fire and animals), cups (flowers, birds, butterflies), swords (water and sea life) and pentacles (earth and plants). There is an instruction booklet, but it doesn't identify the card symbolism.
